Our on ZOO!

I met another triplet mom, Angela and her 2 year old triplet boys, and 4 year old son at the Dallas Zoo this week!!! We were a zoo attraction ourself...

We had been to the zoo before, BUT the babies couldn't see very well in the triplet stroller, AND the Children's Zoo was not open at that time and WOW, did they LOVE it! Angela has taken her boys many times, so she knew the drill...where to go, what to do and when the little people could be "coralled" when out of their wagon. We had a great time, the weather was perfect the company was great!!!

The babies loved looking at the giraffes....

Abigail loved being so close to the fish...

And, Wyatt & Jessy loved petting the goats.

It was a great day!!

Listen to the Rain

We did the rain dance in Texas and we got rain!!! The thunder came in and the babies were not quite sure what to think. So, I told them to "shhhhh" and "be quiet and listen." We walked outside together and I set their seats up under the porch. We watched the rain trickle down on the porch, and the birds fly away. The babies didn't know what to think! I think they enjoyed the cool weather, rain pitter-patter and see the birds fly away. Peaceful is exactly what it was.

BUT, don't let it fool you too much, becuase as soon as the rain stopped, they were off to play and make up for lost time!

Blessed.

Fall Promo Shoot

It was such an honor to be part of a promo shoot by Alyssa Maisano Photography for Bella Bowz Boutique. These women are talented, hard working and great to work with. The triplets did pretty well, but I would say the cute outfits and the quick snap of the camera got these great shots!

Here are a few favorites...

Of course there were too many good ones to choose from...

Thank you Jenny and Alyssa for the opportunity to be part of something so fun!

Wyatt's First Haircut

The hair was quite uneven and starting to grow around the ears, so down to Royse City Main Street we went so that my fabulous hair dresser Morgan could give Wyatt a trim.

He did really good sitting still for her...

He wasn't quite sure what was going on I don't think...

The girls watched Bubba as he got his first cut!

They (babies) grow way too fast!!!

Taking it all in....

Today was a day that I really focused on "being" with the babies. I took what they were doing all in and watched them play and couldn't help but think of how totally 100% blessed I am to have 3 healthy babies, a wonderful husband and a tremendous amount of support from family, friends and loved ones. I try to take each day "in" with the babies, because I know they will grow up in a blink of an eye, however it is hard to do that sometimes with the day to day chores and tasks. BUT, today Lord I am thankful....and have a heart that is grateful and filled with joy about the amazing possibilities and what is to come in our life.

The babies have learned to "kiss" and today they decided they needed to kiss each other. It was quite possibly the sweetest thing I have seen them all do.

My heart is filled with joy.

15 Month Check Up

Everyone had their 15 month check up today at Dr. Sandhu's office. The nurses are so so sweet there, and they always make sure we get in pretty quick when we get there. The choo-choo wagon has been my best friend on outings, so we took it into the doctor's office for the first time too. It worked out great! Especially while we were waiting in the room, and in between babies being checked...it was entertainment! The doctor was pleased with all of their growth and development. The girls are lower on the charts for weight, but they are tall and lean so she was not worried. Here is everyone in the room waiting for the nurse.

Abigail is 20 lb, 3 ounces - 30.5 inches tall. Here is her "funny face!"

Wyatt 23 lb, 2 ounces - 30.5 inches tall

Jessy Grace21 lb, 2 ounces - 31.5 inches tall

Waiting for brother and sister to get shots is no fun...especially when you know what is coming next. Here is Mimi comforting before JG gets her shot series.

That is her dog Cocoa in the picture.

I can't believe how fast they are growing. I am so blessed with their health and progress...and for my sanity for that matter. Pretty soon I will be planning their 2nd birthday!

Long lost update...

Well I have failed many people in my blogging. SORRY!!!!!! I have several posts waiting, but for some reason, my photos aren't uploading near as quick as they used too. I am trying to figure that out...BUT in the mean time, I know many people are curious as to what the babies are up to. Facebook has a lot of great pictures for sure, but here are a few of my favorite recent pictures.

Silly Wyatt and his smiley face!

The girls love to rock!

Don't they look like their helping!

As you all are very aware, these babies keep me busy and on my toes. Not too much down time in the Self house hold, BUT we have lots of fun, laughs and so many memories I am forever grateful for.
