Walks Around the Block

Well when you go from 70 to 30 in Texas, it's hard to prepare for anything really. But, for the past few weeks we have had decent weather. And, most days I am fine being in the house, but after about Wednesday, I look for something to do...someway to get out and get a breath of fresh air. I love walking with the babies during the day, and I know they love being outdoors too.

Here is a colder day, but not too bad, the sun was still shining. Everyone is snuggled up!

And, here is our favorite outside weather day so far! Upper 70's and sun a shining! The babies LOVED riding in the Cho-Cho Wagon. They each have their own seat belt and cup holder and every once in a while, Wyatt would get really comfortable and prop his leg up on the side of his car.
They love riding!!

9 Months Old

Well I have somehow missed month 9 to describe activity, food, etc for each baby. I don't know exactly happened...OH wait, there are three little people robbing my time....so I didn't get the 9 month post done as well as I had wanted. BUT, I do have their 9 month check up stats ;)

Abigail weighs in at 16 lb .5 oz and is 4% in weight. She is 28.75 inches long and in the 80th percentile. She grew 2 3/4 inches in 3 months! She is going to be tall!

Wyatt is 19 lb 13 oz and 28 inches long. He measured in in the 30th percentile for both categories.

Jessy Grace is 17 lb .5 oz and 10% for weight, and measures 28 inches long and is 50th percentile for length. I'm thinking basketball player!!

The babies are growing right on track and moving more and more around "toy land" as we call it. Jessy Grace is a little more "determined" if you will and has been the first to crawl and soon will be standing and taking steps I'm sure of it.

All babies are eating well and luckily for me, it will not be hard to wean them from their bottle. They are only interested part of the time. We are introducing more table type foods, fruits and veges. They are all still good sleepers and for the most part sleep from 8 pm to 7 or 8 am. I am grateful for babies who like their beds! They are taking 2 hour to hour and a half naps a day and then a shorter nap after they eat at 4 pm.

They are happy, content and healthy! Thank you to our Man up above!!!

Daddy Duty

Every year Mary Kay Inc, puts on a fabulous conference for Sales Directors all across the United States. The company educates, inspires and motivates the independent sales force for the year, as well as informs us on the new products and trends to look for through the year. It is an amazing experience and fabulous girlfriend time. It is always in January and each year in a different state, last year I wasn't able to go and it was in San Diego, California...this year right in my backyard, Houston, Texas. While the location wasn't all that fabulous, the time away was refreshing for me. I had a wonderful time, had continuous adult conversation and didn't do the same thing every day, hehe.

I feel so totally blessed to have the best of both worlds, with ability to be a mommy first with the flexibility to help bring income home to my family. A company that is based on God first, family second and career third and a place where I am surrounded by positive and encouraging women that praise me to success. God knew what he was doing when he placed this business in my path 7 years ago.
Here is my director girlfriend, Paula from Iowa. We are great roommates and have a wonderful time every year!

We got out early one evening and had a fun girls night out.
Paula, Me, Sandra and Darla

And my new goal, the Chevy Equinox....three convertible car seats will fit ;)

I missed my little lovebugs terribly, BUT they were in great hands! It was the first time I was away for longer than 2 days, it is amazing how much I missed them. Wednesday through Friday I had a rotation of family and close friends, but every night and all day Saturday Daddy duty was on. I was so proud of how well Jack did! I don't know too many daddy's out there can handle three 9 month old babies all alone.

He did a good job of sending me pictures of the babies while I was gone. Here are a few of them.

Sweet Abigail, laughing and playing...
Wyatt and his bed head...that boy seriously snuggles with his bumper pads!

Jessy Grace and this face...just cracks me up!
And here is Daddy's new way to feed 3 babies at one time...I was quite impressed!!

We are grateful for the Mary Kay opporunity that allows me to work from home while having the freedom to be with my babies. I could not ask for more...

Crawling Diva

It's official, Jessy Grace has mastered the crawling skill and is taking off.
It is absolutely amazing how fast she learned to get on all fours, rock back and forth and now is leaving the others behind. It is so funny to see her crawling, because she is still so small and on the "playground" as we call it, she looks so little. Her pace is picking up and her brother and sister are wondering what the heck she is doing. They better catch up, before they know it, she will be pulling up and walking circles around them.

Again, our little "first" diva....she is quite the little learner.

Aggie Football, Cotton Bowl 2011

Well the Fightin' Texas Aggie class of 2032 was in full gear ready for the Cotton Bowl Classic! I had a fun time getting them ready for the big game, and they loved listening to Mommy teach them Aggie yells.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh.........

Wyatt especially loved learning how to "Whoop!"
Poppa and the future little Aggies...
And Momma, class of 2003, with her baby Aggies.
Dad got 4 tickets for the Cotton Bowl, and he, my brother Dillon and my cousin Jill loaded up on Friday and headed to the new Dallas Cowboy Stadium. Here is an amazing picture of the sky as we parked the car. Hello! A God painting, no doubt.
Inside this massive and over the top stadium, was a 70 yard long jumbo tron where, just in case you can't see the field, you can be sure to see it on the HD screen. It is mesmerizing for sure.
The Fightin' Texas Aggie Band took the half time show to a new level, as always.
And, even though the the Aggies didn't pull off the big win, the game was fun, the company was spetacular and the memories were lasting!
Gig'em!

Dancing Diva

Oh Jessy girl...such a diva! We have a radio in our kitchen and everytime they are fed, we crank it up. Jack and I are silly I'm sure when we warm food for everyone, dancing around and trying to get them to laugh. And for several weeks I am have been saying the word "dance" to try and associate the moving with the word.

Well look who caught on pretty quick....

Quite the dancing queen!!! Love it!

Happy New Year! Goodbye 2010, Welcome 2011!

What a great New Year celebration! Not only were we surrounded by special friends, but also a time for Jack and I to look back and see how 2010 ended, and the amazing miracles that have taken place. We feel truly grateful for the abundance of love from our family and friends; for the prayers and support this year. From the second we discovered the three miracles were making an entrance into this world, we had so much support it brings tears to my eyes. God truly shows his grace through the ups and downs, from conception, pregnancy, bed rest, NICU stay and then home as a family of 5 We still stand in awe of You.

New Years Eve was a blast! Our friends Katie, Keres and their precious kids Ava and George came from Mt. Pleasant that afternoon. We visited for awhile and then had reservations at a favorite local restaurant, Fish Camp. We met Kathy and David there as well…it was a great meal! We weren't outnumbered so that was even better! After dinner we came home and after we got the babies asleep we played Catch Phrase...so fun. We had a great time, lots of laughs for sure!

We went to sleep at 11:30...so much for staying up till midnight that's for sure! We woke up New Years Day and had wonderful breakfast and lots of playtime. Here some of the great pictures Katie captured.

Ava loved the babies. They were like real "baby alive" dolls to her! She was so sweet.
Here is George looking so big in the triplet table. He is so cute! He and Jesse make a good pair ;)
Saturday afternoon Katie and I headed to the store to get New Years food traditions, black eyed peas, cabbage and cornbread. I had a little more shopping as well and then we headed back to cook and enjoy the rest of the afternoon. They headed back to MP early evening and Jack and I relaxed the rest of the evening.
Sunday was church as normal, and a day of rest. We had a wonderful weekend and are thankful for 2010.....a year to remember!
