Walk and Flop!

Ha, that is what Jack describes what I do....I walk and then I flop down. Quite entertaining I'm sure for anyone to watch me get up and sit down, I am definitely feeling quite large. But that only means great things for the babies!
Here is a 28 weeks pic:

This weekend ended so wonderful, with a shower the ladies at Church gave us. We had a blast and I so enjoyed seeing all of the special people God has placed in my life!!! Look at this beautiful cake Kathy made, you are so talented Kathy!! It was SO yummy too!

We got lots of diapers and gifts cards!! Thank you so much for everyone who came and to all my friends who helped make the shower so special! Dana made these awesome wreaths for the babies!!! Check out the baby crocs for Mr. Wyatt! These will be great for the hospital too.

After the shower we had a party in the nursery. All the diapers were unboxed and we put size 1 under one bed and size 2 and 3 under another bed. The ladies also moved the furniture around a little bit to make the dresser/changer table fit better. I am starting to get super excited!!!

Today my friend Betsy dropped off a cross she made for the nursery! It is so perfect and I can't wait to put it up. You can see her awesome work at : http://www.betsyscrossroads.com/

My doctors appointment is Thursday so I will have an update for you then!

Third Trimester, 28 weeks

We are at 28 weeks and super excited!!! Each week is less time the babies will be in the NICU, and closer to 35 weeks. I am breaking it down in 2 weeks increments, seems closer....at least that is how I am rationalizing it :)

According to baby.com, here is what is going on with the babies this week:
"By this week, your baby weighs two and a quarter pounds (like a Chinese cabbage) and measures 14.8 inches from the top of her head to her heels. She can blink her eyes, which now sport lashes. With her eyesight developing, she may be able to see the light that filters in through your womb. She's also developing billions of neurons in her brain and adding more body fat in preparation for life in the outside world."

Oh they are adding fat alright, and creating an amazing amount if discomfort for momma :) If my skin would just stretch some, we would be ok....but it seems like it is not stretching fast enough. The babies are growing and I can tell with every arm, leg and head that rolls around. Keep on kicking babies, maybe that will help make more room. I'll deal with the stretching aftermath another year. HA!

Friday night was date night, and I rallied the troops to do something special for Jack. Mom helped me with picking out sushi, chocolate and drinks, and then Lezlee came over closer to dinner time and sent Jack to look at her car. She lite candles and had all the food on the coffee table with movies in tow. THANK you Mom and Lezlee!! We had a yummy dinner and a movie kind of night...pretty much all we can do at this point, but it was fun. We were very tempted at about 10 pm to go to WalMart and buy a Wii or Guitar Hero....something we can play. I'm all about a good card game, Jack not so much.

Saturday I had a facial at noon and Jack and David headed out to check out some fishing holes...really I should say fishin' holes. Later this afternoon my cousin Jill came over to visit. We had a great time and go to catch up in a lot of areas. Thank you for hanging out Jill, and for warming up my dinner.
Jack and David got back and stained the toy box Jack has been working on AND put together the changing table and dresser. Very productive evening! Thank you DAVID!Unfortunately, we had to opt for another changing table, not the one we registered for...that Christina my sister in law got us. :( It was too big for the room and the space allowed for a table. Stinks....so we used that credit at WalMart and had to go with a smaller one. Here are Jack and David putting it together, and then the final project. See the Jack size toy box in the background! It is going to be great!

A+

Our appointment today was fabulous. My cervical length actually increased and went from 2.6 to 2.8. This week bedrest really worked!!! The babies all are healthy and growing strong!

Here are their stats:
Abigail - 2 pounds
Wyatt - 2 pounds 6 ounces
Jessy Grace - 2 pounds 1 ounce

Wyatt is totally hogging the food supply :) However, Dr. Romberg was happy with each of their growth, weights and fluid. Mimi and Papa picked me up from the house and took me to get my blood drawn at one location and then we headed to Baylor. My blood sugar was getting low so we stopped and I got a coke. Let me tell you 2 sips worked, however when I got in to see Kari our sonographer the babies were ALL over the place! We have several pictures, but here are the better ones were you can actually see who is who.
Abigail
Wyatt
Jessy Grace
SO SWEET! It is unbelievable how different they all look and how much they have grown. They are so active and it is AMAZING to feel them all 3 move at once.

So another week of success and Friday we will be in the 3rd trimester. Let's just continue to pray for good reports each week. Thank you for all your prayers and support!!!! Jack and I are so grateful.

It's the little things....

Today was a good day! Tomorrow will be even better because I get to see the babies!! I can't wait!!!!!!!!!! Pray for NO stay. Meaning that I don't stay at Baylor after the visit....I want to be at home!

I did get maternity pictures taken today and it was so much fun! Heather from came to my house and worked around my bedrest restrictions. She did a great job, and I can't wait to see the picture. She also plans to do the triplets newborn pics and is SO excited! You can see how great she is here: http://www.heatherbphotography.com/

Every day I am getting more and more hungry. I think Jack thinks I am making it up just so I can have him get me food, but for real the babies are really growing and I can't hold the hunger pains back. I have snacks at my bed side, but after a while tuna and granola bars get old. So, I am taking suggestions for snacks that are ok to sit out, but semi healthy.
Oh, and here are some more pictures from Saturday's cousin visit!

I hope to have pictures of the babies tomorrow to show...stay tuned.

Fun Weekend!

It is always good when Fridays roll around!! It is a new week in the triplet pregnancy and it is amazing to see how the babies are growing and how each week they progress in preparation for the outside! Here is what baby.com says about week 27:

"This week, your baby weighs almost 2 pounds, like a head of cauliflower, and is about 14 1/2 inches long with her legs extended. She's sleeping and waking at regular intervals, opening and closing her eyes, and perhaps even sucking her fingers. With more brain tissue developing, your baby's brain is very active now. While her lungs are still immature, they would be capable of functioning — with a lot of medical help — if she were to be born now. Chalk up any tiny rhythmic movements you may be feeling to a case of baby hiccups, which may be common from now on. Each episode usually lasts only a few moments, and they don't bother her, so just relax and enjoy the tickle."

And here is my 27 week babies belly.

No hiccups yet, but lots of stretching and leg extensions! I feel like all three of them are testing their space and have not problem stretching as far to the left or right as they need to. It is an entertaining thing to watch as your stomach becomes an odd shape. It is awesome though, and I love when I feel them moving around. I think they are going to be strong little guys!

So Friday morning, after breakfast and getting me situated for the day, Jack asked if I was ready to go for a run and what I was going to wear when we head to Six Flags....totally sarcastic of course. I laughed like I had just heard the funniest joke in the world, I am glad he makes me laugh. So after that I settled for a date night when he got home from work. He made our favorite chip and dip combo and then ordered pizza. We watched 2 movies and were both ready for bed at 10 pm. Actually I think we were ready to go to bed at 8:45, but made ourselves stay awake until at least 10.

Saturday was a blast! Our friends Katie, Keres and their beautiful babies Ava and George came to visit from Mt. Pleasant. It was so fun seeing the kids and visiting.
Miss. Ava
Katie is about as OCD as I am so it was great to have a like minded woman in the house! I went and laid in the nursery and she opened diaper boxes and stored things under the beds, organized the closet and opened both of the Pack 'n Plays we received. After I got back into my bedroom she and Keres both buzzed around the house. I am SO thankful for you all coming and hanging out and it was so wonderful to see you both!!!! Katie and I tried to get a good picture before she left, but after about 6 attempts this is the best we could get!

That afternoon my cousin Matt and his wife, Courtney, came over to hang out. We had a blast! Those 2 together are great and totally compliment one another. They are fun, funny and just have great personalities. They brought BBQ and we all a piled in my king size bed for a picnic. We visited and listened to Matt tell us all about his new addiction, Farmville. I shared my big Mary Kay sales goal and they went to shopping; Matt even posted on his Facebook his sales goal and is working hard. We watched a movie and had a great time!

My other cousin Shelly came over around 4. Now the party was really on, ha, our parents would have laughed. At one point we had 3 laptops, 2 blackberry phones, 2 IPhones and were facebooking, texting, farming, word scrabbling and more. Of course we still had conversation, but we all laughed at our technology addictions! Here are some pictures for proof!!
I have more pictures coming from Matt & Court!!
Shelly also brought books for the babies, I can't wait to read to the babies!

Later that night, Lisa and David from church brought dinner. And when I say the best homemade lasagna, I mean it!!!! They also made stuffed mushrooms and a fabulous salad. Thank you Lisa and David!!!! Lezlee and Maddie also came over and ate with us, and visited for a while. Lezlee also brought me a set of books from the Love & Respect conference several couples went to this weekend.

Saturday was fun, me and the babies were ready for bed!

Sunday rolled around, and normally I cry when Jack leaves for church...but I did good today. I watched the service on DVD and totally enjoyed every ounce of it. This afternoon was my shower my Mary Kay girlfriends threw for me. It was SO great to see all the ladies and we were SO blessed with SO many diapers, wipes, and other necessary items for the babies. If you remember from previous posts, on average 24,060 diapers!! Craziness is what that is all about! Sonya and Chrystel you outdid yourself making everything look and taste wonderful. Thank you Paty for making the beautiful cake, and to all my friends for the wonderful gifts. Then to make it even better they stayed, I laid in the nursery while they unpacked and organized diaper sizes and wipes to fit in the nursery!! It is getting TIGHT! And a great surprise was that Donna and Tony, family friends came over and brought dinner, cookies and fruits and veggies. It was so great to see them as well and I can't wait to eat Donna's chicken spaghetti she was voted best on Food Network!!! Here are a few pictures from the shower.

The the girls got crazy and started putting bears strapped in car seats, adding bows to the girl bears and a hat to the boy bear. Quite hilarious at the time.

Tonight is loooooooooow key. I am going to crash early, I'm excited for another week of baby baking. Temperature 62 degrees, that is what I keep my house on these days. Jack is now cold and I am hot!! Who would have ever thought!?!!?

Report Card Today

Today was our weekly report card with Dr. Romberg, who by the way is the best OB!! I am SO blessed to have a Christian doctor who is totally all about what is best for our babies. The appointment went well. While there was a shorten in my cervical length, she was still happy and pleased that I am doing this good. My cervical length this week was 2.6, however no funneling, so while it is not an A+ is as good as it gets in my situation. She said to keep staying on bed rest and doing what I am doing. Each week it will be different, it could gain length OR it could shorten...but I am not having contractions and no funneling from pressure above, so we are ok...this week. She also scheduled my c-section for April 20th!!! Dang that seems far, but when I make it that long, praise God, because the babies will be much more developed and spend less time in the NICU.

I also saw a regular physician today about the pain in my stomach that radiates through my back. She said it could be gallbladder, however no there other tests that can be run while I am pregnant. She also said it could just be baby pain with everything being crammed together. She does want to run a series of blood work to make sure it is not a stomach ulcer, and also to check my liver enzymes, etc. So, we will say how that turns out. I will have to go back for the blood work another day.

My Mimi and Papa picked me up from the doctor so Jack could leave there for work, and that was so sweet of them. These are excited great grandparents!!! They made me lunch, folded clothes and brought us 2 dinners we can thaw and have when we need it. It was great to visit with them.

I am a blessed young lady. I have a helpful husband, 3 growing babies, wonderful parents and stepparents, grandparents, family and friends. The last several days have been more difficult as I found out that I will be laid off from RFBD, the organization I have been a part of for almost 5 years. An organization very dear to my heart and whose mission I am super passionate about. While this will be a transition for our family, it will be one of a great leap of faith and yet another way for God to say "HEY, I'm in control!!!" His plan is NOT always our plan. My last day will be February 26th and while I am sad to leave and scared for the changes, I feel God specifically designed this timing for the best timing. I have always wanted to work my Mary Kay business full time when I had children and have the opportunity to be at home, and now I can focus on that and nothing else. While bed rest might not be the best option for working this business, I DO know that God WILL bless my activity according to His will, even when I can only work from my bed :) SO, if you are in need of the #1 Best Selling Brand of skin care OR a great way to make extra money, I can totally hook you up! ;)

27 weeks tomorrow, here I come!

4 Weeks Already!?!?

Can you believe it has been 4 weeks since all this happened!? Wow, overall really, it has gone by fast. The slowest part was for sure the hospital, home has gone by quick. I am forever grateful for the people who have come to feed, entertain and check on me. As of now I am good to go with things to keep me busy.

Here are a few things that I am thankful to have close to me while on bedrest:
Laptop computer
Cell phone
Big jug that came from Baylor to drink all the water I need
My 3D pictures of my babies
Thank you notes
TIVO'd shows
LOTS of pillows

My Valentine was super good to me! Jack is really good at gifts. He remembers little things I say or when I see something makes good mental note. He had me open my gifts before my shower on Saturday, as he got me a really cute shirt and matching jewelry. I also got the most yummy chocolate covered strawberries from Mary of Puddin' Hill, and a beautiful orchid plant. He did good!! The jewelry pieces were from the babies which I thought was super sweet.

My shower was fun and I enjoyed visiting with family and friends, and appreciate all the hard work Julia put in to make it so special. You are the best girl! Look how cute everything was! And, the cake was fabulous!

The babies are taking over!! Wow, the past week there has been significant change in each of their places and movements. My stomach looks almost always deformed, as a head, butt, arms or legs are always poking out. I feel like my skin needs to stretch too, so they can have more room. I know they are growing, so that is great thing and I can't wait to find out how big they are next week. I head to the doctor on Thursday for cervical length and to see the doctor, then the following we will head to big Baylor for growth. Praying for a great report!

English Hothouse Cucumber? What!?!?

So we are at 26 weeks and growing. This is what baby.com has to say about this week's growth.

"The network of nerves in your baby's ears is better developed and more sensitive than before. He may now be able to hear both your voice and your partner's as you chat with each other. He's inhaling and exhaling small amounts of amniotic fluid, which is essential for the development of his lungs. These so-called breathing movements are also good practice for when he's born and takes that first gulp of air. And he's continuing to put on baby fat. He now weighs about a pound and two-thirds and measures 14 inches (an English hothouse cucumber) from head to heel. If you're having a boy, his testicles are beginning to descend into his scrotum — a trip that will take about two to three days."

What the heck is an "English hothouse cucumber" you ask? I sure did...well it apparently looks like this:

Maybe just say cucumber!?

It is amazing to me how the babies grow. How God has specifically designed each week of development in His perfect plan. Takes your breathe away! To know they are developing better lung capacity is a great thing, but of course the longer they stay in the better.

Friday day was good. Nothing too extraordinary, working and lots of conversation about the crazy weather. WOW, I think this snow forgot it was in Texas!! We got about 12 inches here in Royse City, it is beautiful. Tonight Jack and I are going to hang out with Cindy, Ken and their new baby, Micah. I can't wait to meet you Micah! And tomorrow, I am excited to see several friends for my shower that will be here at the house. It is with my Chamber and City friends...it will be fun.
Here's to a good weekend, I'll cheers with my big jug of water :)
Howdy! Sorry for the delay in post, but sometimes I am not sure what all to write because each day is much the same. I guess I could talk about the people that come visit, the food I eat and the gifts we are blessed with, but surely that is not too interesting to read about :)

Today, was however quite eventful!! I was SO excited to get out of the house and even more excited to see SNOW! Jack was so excited at 5 am this morning when he took the dogs out and there were large flakes already on the deck. He got me out of bed to look out the window, it was awesome. My doctor's appointment was today so we left early in case of traffic or bad roads. It was a quick appointment, but great report. My cervical length is still good, at 3.2 and no funneling at all. Bed rest is for sure working right now. Tomorrow I will be 26 weeks!!! Only 2 weeks away from my 3rd trimester...pretty awesome. Next week I see the doctor and then the following week growth again on the babies. So every week for cervical length, every 2 weeks doctor, every 3 weeks baby growth...if you are were interested in my doctor schedule. I also get to go weekly to the Baylor in Mesquite which is great, much closer. Then when we go for growth of the babies, we go to big Baylor for the triplet sono machine.

SO, after my appointment Jack drove me around the country just to see the trees and snow, it was so peaceful. We stopped at one tree to take a few pictures. Don't worry I didn't stand long....just long enough to take some pictures in our historic Texas snow. It was fun. I was quickly brought back home however and it was lunch time, tuna sandwich and chips...yum!
On another note...this annoying pain in my upper stomach is just NOT going away. In the past week the burning, stabbing pain has gone from at least a 6 to a 9 pain scale. It feels like someone is taking a sharp, hot rod through my stomach. Ugh. This really is my only constant complaint. A few weeks ago I had a sono on all my parts, liver, gallbladder, kidneys, etc...but nothing. However this pain is something, it is not baby pain, not that. Anywho this morning I got sick after I ate breakfast and went to bed last night with the pain way after I ate and woke up this morning with it still there, so it is not just when I eat. Praying for healing, but also have an appointment with a general physician the same day as my OB appointment next week, so I am hoping for some answers. Although there might not be anything they can do at this point, I just want to be sure nothing is going to rupture or hurt the babies. Or if there is any relief they can give me.

But, let's end on a positive note....the babies seem to be doing great!!! I can tell they are growing, their movements are stronger and more often. I am assuming as some point they will have more limited room, but right now they are still moving around a lot. Poor little Abigail, she has to be tired of her brother and sister hanging out on top of her, however I am sure she is more annoyed with Wyatt since she only gets kicked from him. I can't wait for Abigail and Jessy Grace to formally meet. This morning at my appointment Abigail's little bottom was right over my bladder, such a cute little hiney-bo!

Jack is being wonderful and every morning bringing me a great breakfast and dinner some nights as well. We have had a lot of great food from so many friends and family which helps him tremendously. Because of this weather he has been home a little more this weel, he is doing a great job as Mr. Mom.

So another week at home, praise God! And, another week of a cookin'!

The Endless Party.

So I started reading another baby book today, it has been a while! I haven't read much since I got home from the hospital. I don't know if it is because I feel like I have enough to do during the day with work and at night I have visitors, OR if I have just been procrastinating on learning more. Well, today I picked up a book I ordered on Amazon a few weeks ago. It is called "On Becoming Baby Wise," and was recommended by many moms at the Multiples Mom meeting I went to at the beginning of January. The book is, and I quote "an exciting infant management plan that successfully and naturally helps infants synchronize feeding, waketime, and nighttime sleep cycles." Who wouldn't want to know more about that, especially when you will have 3 infants!

So, I haven't read from front to back yet, but I did go ahead and skip to Chapter 9 that is titled "Multiple Birth: The Endless Party." I laughed when I read the chapter title. Party!? I mean I can see how it could be madness, but I am not sure about the word "party." I'm sure they are trying to make you feel better because of what your about to experience, but so far the techniques I had read are pretty interesting and it does make sense. I have much more to read, and even more to learn, but I am excited about my new resource and hope the babies are taking note when I tell them key points they need to remember when they enter this world :)

Today started off rough, but ended great. I always get sad on Sundays. I miss going to church with Jack and seeing all of our friends. Then when one tear falls they all come...so I just went ahead and through myself a pity party before Jack left and just told him I wish we could go to a movie or go out to eat, I miss doing things with him. He listened, asked if I wanted him to stay, I said no and I sucked it up. All selfish talk, but once a week isn't bad, right?!?

This afternoon Lezlee and Maddi came over after church and Maddy brought a yummy cake she had made, with chocolate icing. Jack rated it a 12 on a scale of 1 to 10, so I am sure the babies enjoyed it too! Kathy and David dropped by for a minute to bring me the recorded version of the Church service, and then my Aunt Regina brought my Nana over for a long visit this afternoon. My cousin Connor also came and helped Jack bath the dogs, that was funny to hear about when he got inside. This evening Super Bowl party for 2 occurred. Jack and I ate dinner and vegged on the couch to watch the game....I mean commercials :)

Tomorrow begins another week, and another week of baking. The babies seem to all be doing great. I don't understand their movements lately, but it is fun to feel and watch. Either Wyatt or Jessy Grace are so far on my right side I can't even imagine how they aren't about to slip behind my back. It is crazy! Last night I told Jack that Wyatt was doing cartwheels so he better watch out, he quickly said "no, he is doing pull-ups on your ribs." He or Jessy Grace are having their own party, that's for sure! My skin feels also feels so tight these days. Really, when I make it to 33 weeks, I can't imagine how my belly won't burst! We will see how it all works out.

Another Week Down!

This week has been great! First of all it has flown by. Between keeping myself busy with work, friends coming over to visit and all of my fun phone calls, the week flew by. The doctors appointment in the middle of the week also was a fun adventure. Today I am 25 weeks!!! Yah, another week of cooking down! The next big milestone is 28 weeks so we are praying for 3 more weeks of greatness.

I had a great visit Thursday with Bethany and Hayden. It was fun to visit and I so appreciate you Bethany bringing me breakfast, lunch and dinner....and lots of water in between! Friday, Ginger came over and we worked together, it was fun to have someone to work with and visit with as well. She also came with gifts! Ginger gave us one of our Bumbo chairs which will be great for the babies as they grow. She also brought a gift from Lil & Pat which are PRECIOUS little Aggie booties and an awesome Aggie blanket. Christina gave us the Premmie Headrests for us to use in carseats, swings, bouncy seats, etc.

Alex got here last night and we had our traditional fajitias from Arbledos here in town. YUM! We also watched Suppernany which was about a family with triplets, 2 girls and a boy. They also had an older daughter in the mix. WOW, it was pretty entertaining and crazy! I know my life is going to be crazy, but I pray it is not out of control. At one point the dad took all 4 of the kids out to the local park and as they were standing on the sidewalk to cross the street 2 got loose. Now I am not of fan of those "kid leashes," but if I or Jack can't keep control of all three at the same time, it will be our last resort. I would much rather a "kid leash" than a ran over child. Just watching it I was panicing. Suppernanny does have great tips though, and they seem to work well with out of control children.

I also have thought to myself while I lay here, "I sure wish I could store up sleep." You know like when the triplets are up at all hours and I have had no sleep, that I could go back in the "sleep bank" of bedrest and withdraw from that account. Nope, won't happen...but it was a good thought right?

My shower in Hughes Springs was supposed to be today...so sad :( I was so excited to friends and family that I hadn't seen in a long time. I think we are planning to do something when the babies get here though and are able to travel so that will be great.

The babies are moving a lot lately. I think Wyatt is camped out under my right rib, but I am not sure anymore if it is he or Jessy Grace. He/She must be comfortable though or at least they are staking their grounds. Here is an update at 25 weeks:

"Head to heels, your baby now measures about 13 1/2 inches. Her weight — a pound and a half — isn't much more than an average rutabaga, but she's beginning to exchange her long, lean look for some baby fat. As she does, her wrinkled skin will begin to smooth out and she'll start to look more and more like a newborn. She's also growing more hair — and if you could see it, you'd now be able to discern its color and texture."

Keep gaining baby fat babies!

A+ Report!

Today was a great day!! Not only did I get to see the outside world, BUT both the high risk doctor and my OB, had nothing but positive things to say. So before the procedure my cervical length was 2.5. Between the procedure and strict bed rest, it is not back to where I started at 3.7!!!! WAHOOOOO!!!! And, all the babies are doing great. Here are their stats:

Abigail Ruth, 1 pound 10 ounces
Wyatt Michael, 1 pound 10 ounces
Jessy Grace, 1 pound 10 ounces

Ha, you read it....they are ALL the same! So fun and so great they are growing all so well. The high risk doctor, Dr. Yost measured growth and all anatomy again today just to double check everything. Lungs, kidneys, brain, heart, bones....we got to see it all. Every single time I am amazed and so blessed. Jack also said "wow" I think 50 times.

Jessy Grace has moved over more to the middle, so right now they are all sort of stacked on each other with Abigail at the bottom, then Wyatt and then Jessy Grace. We asked the doctor today if she would be able to know Baby A from Baby C and she said for sure either Baby A (Abigail) or Baby B, (Wyatt) would be first. Jack is hoping Wyatt is born first because he thinks every sister needs a big brother. Even if it is only 2 minutes :)

This week has flown by which is great! My college best friend Bethany and her son Hayden came down tonight from Austin while Jack is at the cabin this weekend and then my high school best friend Alex will stay with me Friday night. And, Friday during the day Ginger, my boss from RFBD will come and work here through part of the day with me. BED REST PARTY 2010!

Here is Mr. Hayden...sizing me up to see if I can handle 3!
Thanks to everyone for your prayers as we went to the doctor today! God is good!

Short & Sweet

It is pretty crazy the things you look forward to when you are on bed rest. For instance, the mail is a really big part of my day and going to the doctor this week will be the highlight of my week I get to go outside! I am starting to get really pale, Mary Kay Subtle Tanning Lotion, you are about to be my friend :) It is just funny the things you think about when you have so much time to think about it.

I will tell you that I feel closer to the babies than ever. They had a boxing match after dinner tonight, it was hilarious. Because this is the only pregnancy I will have, for obvious reasons, I am really trying to take in each movement, milestone and week. I get updates from baby.com each week and at 24 weeks, here is what is going on:

"Your baby's growing steadily, having gained about 4 ounces since last week. That puts him at just over a pound. Since he's almost a foot long (picture an ear of corn), he cuts a pretty lean figure at this point, but his body is filling out proportionally and he'll soon start to plump up. His brain is also growing quickly now, and his taste buds are continuing to develop. His lungs are developing "branches" of the respiratory "tree" as well as cells that produce surfactant, a substance that will help his air sacs inflate once he hits the outside world. His skin is still thin and translucent, but that will start to change soon."

Pretty awesome! So I have 3 ears of corn in my belly and lots of development going on.

OH, I meant to say this yesterday...we also got our changing table this weekend! Thank you Christina (my sister in law). I am so excited! Here is the tricky part though....we have to see if it fits. I know you are thinking, why didn't you measure before and I should have, but honestly with 3 baby beds and this piece of furniture, that is WAY too much math. So, we have the baby beds up, we will have to see how it all fits :) We love it though, thank you!
