Happy Easter! HE is Risen!

What a memorable day! I missed church SO much, however had a slight thought my babies would be little Easter baby bunnies. Still no babies, but was a blessed day!

This morning I woke up at 4:30 with a headache and lots of discomfort, after my blood pressure was taken and babies heart rates listened too, my nurse thought I was having contractions. They went ahead and hooked me up to the large baby and contracting monitor to see what could be picked up. After about 2 hours of monitoring, contractions had increased and I was sent to Labor and Delivery for observation. The doctor determined I was only dialted to 1, so she decided to start me on a series of shots that would help control the contractions. The side effect for me would be lots of shaking....and man was there lots of shaking! The plan was if the 3 series shot did not work, then I would be placed on a drip of magnesium to stop labor, however the side effects for that are worse including vomiting, headache, and flu like symptoms. Glad we didn't have to go that far! The last shot worked and seemed to make the contractions subside. There still is irritability in my uterus, but not near the pain that was earlier. I also recieved a booster steriod shot to help with growth for the babies lungs. I had 2 shots during my 22 week visit, so this was just to give another "boost" until the triplets are born.

So contracting and being attached to monitors from 5:30 to 2 pm was pretty exhausting, so I spent the remainder of the afternoon resting. I got a shower and some lunch and crashed! Jack was a wonderful help and support during all of the pain, and did everything he could to make me comfortable.

Tonight I was monitored again, and all the babies look good. Mild irritability and cramping, but at this point that is expected.

Thank you for all the prayers and thoughts for us! I know everyone is excited for Abigail, Wyatt and Jessy Grace to make their grand appearance, but in His timing is what I keep telling myself. We are definitly close!

I think these three little precious ones are just waiting for their Mama's birthday to give her the most wonderful present ever!
