Update....not April fools :)

Fun day ;) It has been super long, but I want to give everyone an update. I headed to the doctor this morning for my regular appointment. After Kari the sonographer took a look at the babies, which all got an 8 out of 8 "score," I saw Dr. Romberg. She was concerned for several reasons, and now I am back at Baylor Hospital in Dallas. For those of you who want details, I had increased protein in my urine, swollen legs, gained 7 pounds in 1 week and have thrown up a few times this week. All of these are signs on preeclampsia, so she decided to have me check into labor and delivery this afternoon.

The nurses monitored all three babies on the heart monitors, quite the experience to get 3 babies on these monitors. I was on the monitor for about 5 hours, totally uncomfortable! However the babies all looked good. I had mild contractions, but nothing major. Over the next 24 hours they will test my urine for increased protein levels. They also drew blood which had several borderline to increased levels. They will draw blood again tomorrow morning to see how the numbers have changed. Based on tomorrow's results will determine one of 2 things. Either I have preeclampsia and the babies will be born :) OR I will be on bed rest at the hospital until it is time. SO, we will have to wait and see.

Tomorrow I will be 33 weeks and we are so glad about that, we really have made it far! Of course the longer the babies stay in the better, but if I or the babies are in danger I am ready for the to come. AND, one of my best friends Eileen is having her baby tomorrow and how awesome it would be to have our babies on the same day! I can't wait to hear from you Eileen!

Now Jack and I will try for a good nights rest tonight....and who knows it might be our last night as a "single" married couple. :)

Thank everyone for your love, prayers and support.
